I was one of the most anti-Orgeron guys I knew when he was hired in 2016.
But that man made me proud when there was a lot of discussion over who deserved to be #1 between LSU and OSU at the end of the 2019 regular season. Orgeron said “any team, any where, any time.” He didn’t go on a media tour campaigning to get his team the #1 seed.
Nick Saban has now multiple times been allowed by the tv networks to beg for a playoff committee to put his team in even though they had blown their chance to take care or business themselves.
