Several questions-
1) How did they get the camera in there? Warrant to sneak it in at night or did an employee flip and let them?
2) They videotaped people undressing without their consent before anything happened. I'm wondering if a good lawyer could get it thrown out on those ground.

I'm still left wondering: how is it legal for the police to put a camera in a room where privacy is expected? This is no different than putting cameras in bathrooms or locker rooms.

What about the person who legitimately only received a massage and nothing more? The cops have that person on video too despite not breaking the law.

It just seems like it opens the door for lawsuits.

Jupiter is home to some of the wealthiest people in the country. Wealthy people also like to spend time in Florida, and the Jupiter area is where a lot of wealthy people go.

So probably what happened in this case is that some rich guy went there once and passed the word on to other rich guys that this place offers happy endings, and as word spread some other rich guys checked it out.

This.

That's my point. If a regular citizen did this, they'd be on the sex offender registry.

Doesn’t a warrant substantiated by probable cause override privacy expectations?

I have privacy expectations when I’m at home but a warrant still lets police tap my phones and search my place.

This was part of a pretty big multi jurisdiction sting. I would imagine the warrants are pretty airtight because they will he tested given the high profile nature of some of the Johns.

I would expect that if it were illegal to put a camera in the shower, then all the drug deals would take place in a shower.

Call me gullible, but Kraft in my eyes is coming off as a semi-innocent dumb old man. Dude doesn't know how to exploit his wealth to get all of his companionship string free because he lived a faithful life to his wife, but somehow stumbles upon a massage parlor in Florida. It's the only avenue he knows, so he keeps coming back. Why else would you go to Jupiter, Fl on the day of the AFC title game?

He probably is superstitious too. Got a handy on game day one time and they won.
