I coulda swore it was you that said in another thread not too long ago that Floyd is the greatest 135 lbs fighter ever. I forget the exact wording, but it was something similar.
Yeah I did say I thought he was the best 130lb fighter in boxing history. He was pretty special at that weight and his destruction of Corrales was incredible to watch.
However, the way he's dodged opponents at a pretty stacked 147 and 154 division hurts him. He should have fought Margarito in 06, Cotto in 08, Pacquiao in 10 and even Martinez around 11-12. shite, he should have also fought Paul Williams between 08 and 10.
That's why imo he's not a top 10 p4p great. He could have done some really special things but he chose not to.....all in the name of money and cherry picking.

Roy Jones Jr did have the best resume in his divisions(better than the few fighters people claim he ducked) so I would not call his opponents bums.
That being said I feel many fans felt as if though he left far too many fights on the table.
He easily beat 2 of the best fighters in James Toney & Hopkins & I looked up his next opponents :
Fermin Chrinino
Danny Garcia
Thomas Tate
Bryant Brannon
Antoine Byrd
Marques Sosa
Sugar Boy Malinga(legit)
Mike McCallum( ex great ,but 41 years old)
Vinny Pazienza(blown up lightweight )
I feel as if though only Gerald McClellan could have beaten Jones at MW or SMW, but for his injury.
Jones could have fought a more inspired card & missed classic opportunities:
Michael Nunn & Gerald McClellan .
Go to Europe & avenge G-Man & beat Nigel Benn or Chris Eubanks or both in front of the great British fight fans.
Steve Collins .
Jones beats them all & has better resumes than they do ,but those could have been potential classics & elevating him even higher in the world & given Boxing a shot in the arm at that division.
LHW he only missed out on Darius M who had a vastly inferior resume than Jones.
I basically bailed on Jones when he fought the Full time NYPD Cop Frazier.
Despite having the best resume its frustrating that he left so many fights on the table.

How many great fighters did Tyson fight? Holmes was way over the hill.

Well, you can't put him higher than Holyfield because Tyson was Holyfield's beyotch.
And I wouldn't put Holyfield significantly higher on that list.
