Martin fricked Incognito over bad. Dude seemed like he went out of his way to make sure Martin had friends.

Even Martin thought it was funny when some team decided to draft him in the second round.

He was literally one of the worst OL in the league.

I think with the release of these, Incognito will find a job without a problem. He's a meat head but you don't not take a Pro Bowl caliber offensive lineman because he likes to party his face off.

Guards without the baggage are easy to find. Sucks but i dont see anyone picking him up

You aren't paying for the sex. You are paying for the ability to avoid all the bullshite that comes with the sex.

Just read it all. Two things.
1) I am very jealous of the NFL lifestyle
2) Definitely siding with Incognito here. I didn't see ANYTHING, not a single text, that should bother Martin for more than 5 seconds.

Incognito looks like he genuinely cares about Martin in those texts, actually. He's just a gigantic bro.

Agreed. He is a huge doucher. But I didn't see any bullying and I would go as far as saying he looked at Martin like a younger brother.. Always trying to include him and showing him how to have fun.

I didn't read all of the post in this thread.

But I find it hilarious how much these guys struck out on puss.

"You, you smash that puss last night?"

"nah, friend was cock blocking"

Rinse and repeat.

Thought this was particularly hilarious. How hard is it to close as an NFL player? I feel like I have a higher success rate than these guys. Granted, they probably go out much more, so more opportunity for failure, and I'm not x amount overweight either.

i loved deadspin at first because of their ESPN hate but they really beat a dead horse with it, just change the channel. After the te'o outing they became so self-righteous it's unreadable.

This is pretty much how I imagined their relationship.

I thought it was ridiculous how everyone ran with that voicemail when it came out. Nobody thought it was suspicious that they released the text version of a voicemail? And that there were ellipses (edits) all over it? Nope, because it was Incognito he's a racist bully.

I think that Martin had his mental breakdown, checks into the south Florida hospital and things are relatively fine. Goes home to his high powered attorney parents in California and they concoct a plan to pin the blame on Incognito and the Dolphins. Workplace bullying is a hot topic issue so everyone runs with it without asking questions.

Also, remember how Martin's attorney was teasing a 'Incognito physically assaulted Martin' story for a week or two?

Yeah...these guys have money...I'm sure it's blow. All these drugs leave your system quickly though while weed(while less harmless) can stay for weeks. I'm sure these guys are doing blow when they party instead.

NFL players are only tested once at training camp. Unless they fail that and get in the substance abuse program.

was there a lot of people on this board who were on Martin's side when this story first broke?

I honestly don't remember.

since there was so many GD threads on the subject, I decided to avoid them for the most part.

I didn't want to jump to conclusions when the story broke because we all know how poorly they can be handled by a certain network...

Martin may be dealing with issues. Who knows. But he handled this like a complete bitch. Is Icognito a meathead and an a-hole? Yes. Are 90% of NFL players meatheads and assholes? Yes.

And, as others have said, Icognito seemed to genuinely care about Martin's well being. Maybe the Dolphins offensive line is particularly out of control, but does anyone really think that Martin wouldn't experience the same shite in other locker rooms? If he had such a problem with it, he should have quit quietly and not blamed the one guy who appears to have reached out.

I'd take him on the Saints in a heartbeat.
