Such sad news. My uncle was a teammate and great friend to him. Please pray for his family. They are having a very hard time as is my uncle who would talk to him daily

Flair, Roddy Piper and Kevin Greene vs. Nash, Hall and Syxx was one of the great WCW 6-man tag matches.

Wow great player RIP
MNF crew just talked about this. And I knew the cliche "he was a great player, but he was an even better person" was going to come out.
For once I would like to hear "He was a great person, but he was an even better linebacker".

He was a St Louis area recruit. It was before my time. Not sure how he got to Auburn.
Any old timers know?
I was really good friends with Kevin's nephew ( his mom is Kevin's sister). Their father was an army colonel so he moved around a lot. I think Kevin was actually born in NYC. But when Colonel Greene retired, the family settled in Alabama. Went to AU on the GI Bill and walked on. He was cut by Barfield and he tried out for Pat Dye who kept him on the team and he turned into an NFL Hall of Famer.
Great football player and an even better dude. He did all kinds of cool shite for his nephew and all of us who were friends with him. RIP to one of the great.

Wasn’t alive when he was with Pittsburgh but watched the football life on him. Pretty sad, was a good dude. Never like hearing somebody go that early
