I will never understand the Dak hate from this board.
A guy from Louisiana that keeps his head down, navigates the pitfalls of being Jerry’s QB, and actually is a good football player.

$40? You missed an additional third or $20 million there. He’s making $60 to beat bad teams and lose to good ones. But he is good for fantasy players, which drives up Cowboys popularity and that is ALL Jerry really cares about.
He is a businessman and his team is worth more than any other by far. He does not care about winning a Super Bowl. He cares about popularity (not likability, just how popular they are) of his team and money. He’s doing pretty good at both of those things.
ETA: I guess he is only technically making $50.5 million this year.

Dak deserves heat at times but not last night. He definitely played well enough for them to win.

I despise the Cowboys and that team has many issues with their roster but Dak isn't one of them. What he's paid is simply the "market" at the time. He played out of his mind last night without the WR 1A option.
