Not taking into account pre World War II pitching records because baseball was such a radically different sport back then, I will say that Wilt Chamberlain's record of 48.5 minutes per game in 1962 is the one record that will never ever be broken.

Cool stat about that one

You could take away all his goals and he’d still be first in points

Not sure why this didn’t get mentioned in the SEC thread.

Phelps 5 individual golds in 1 Olympics. 8 total could get equalled with the addition of 2 fake mixed gender relays, nobody is topping the individual gold number.

Hack Wilson's single season RBI record (191 in 1930)
Nolan Ryan's career no-hitter record (7)
Rickey Henderson's career stolen base record (1406)

The closest anyone has gotten to Wilson in years was Manny Ramirez with 165 in 1999.

As far as I know, there is no active MLB player with more than 2 no-hitters.

Henderson currently holds about a 500 base lead over the second best in that category, Lou Brock, and stolen bases are pretty much an afterthought in today's game given the big push for analytics.

This is the first thing that came to mind. 44.2 ppg in his collegiate career, which is insane.
