I can't be the only person not getting anything done at work today right? Too anxious to see Cole dominate as always and see the offense come alive behind Correa's 2 HRs tonight. Might have to keep the Correa jersey I bought today if that's the case.

What's about to happen to night is not what you think but when it's over you will be glad it happened now.

Your suggestion is in line with Beltran's "use both eyes"

I like it

Seems kind of duh but an offensive spark in the first few innings will go a very long ways tonight. I’m afraid if we roll into the 4th or 5th and 0-0, up 1-0, down 1-0 or 2-0 or something it will snowball.

George looked much more comfortable the other night so I’m hopeful

Jwho has been saying the same

Need an early lead

The fact that we feel that way makes me expect the unexpected

I always seem to remember games like Game 3, where Altuve hits a HR to take an early lead, and we still lose

I know the numbers say we hit lefties well, but for some reason, it doesn't seem so to me.

Yeah and it’s not so much an early lead with a solo bomb or something, though that would be nice and I think a lead off one from George could be huge for momentum and the crowd. I want to see consecutive good at bats and hard contact in the first few innings. It seems like the bad at bats have been contagious the last several games.

Brantley and Bregman are undoubtedly our most professional ABs

And with Brantley hitting in front of Bregs, his struggles have been setting a bad tone.

I'm sure the guys start to overthink things when they see Brantley not being able to square up a pitcher.

I’m cautiously optimistic about Brantley as well after he hit two balls hard the other night. It seems like he’s been slow getting to velocity lately though and Glasnow brings a lot of it

Springer and Brantley are probably our two most important hitters tonight IMO
