I really don’t give a rats arse about Tulane or UNO. I’m an LSU fan from birth but live in Hammond, and because of that I’m quite sure that your homemade list having SLU ranked below Southern is bullshite. And honestly I’m a 12 pack deep right now and don’t know why I really even care.

Tech's basketball arena is a dump. I was there for a game last year. On par with ULM's, just a notch above Stopher @ Nicholls.

As an LSU and ULfan,I will say right now the tigue is nicer than the box, and the cajundome beats the hell out of the pmac. The renovation was outstanding. Anyone saying otherwise is just butthurt or has not been yet.

Brag thread:

got to experience the Louisiana Tech endzone facility - it is very, very nice. I have not been in the new skyboxes yet. The ends zone facility may be the nicest football viewing experience I have ever had - 1st class facility and every detail is perfect.

I have been in the presidents suite at UL-M - experience was first class - also have been to the skybox - let’s just says the bourbon flows freely for those there!

LSU - tiger den suites - been in those a few times - very, very nice - our hosts had plenty of great food and drinks - the games were great and the experiences were something I’ll never forget. The glassed in part is nice for pre and post game socializing - we shut the place down!

I was in a suite at the super dome for a bowl game - too drunk too remember - dammit

The Indeoendence Stadium endzone facility is the worst by far - was there for a bowl game - never again -

I honestly don't see the difference between the 2 other than the video board. Both have that awful circular design, and haven't been renovated since opening.
You could be center court and still be 50 feet away and angled toward 1 goal

Seating proximity to the court is a huge difference in the atmosphere. Techs seating extends down to the floor at mid court on both sides. Fant is like a rodeo arena all the way around and at mid court they are way back from the action.

A video board makes a massive difference so that alone would give Tech the advantage.

Tech has done major renovations to locker rooms and lounges for players. ULM has got squat on that front.

Once the LED lighting is installed that will be another advantage to the TAC over Fant

Similarities: Concourse area is similar and both are old. Lighting in both currently sucks. Both are eye soars from the exterior.

No one who actually visited the Tigue after the renovations would consider Tulane's stadium to be competitive with the Cajuns

The TAC looks like an upside down ramekin.

Did you intentionally find the two worst pictures of SLU you could find?

Yep: although not as big, the Tigue is handsdown a better facility. It was designed from day one to give the best fan expereince possible, and it worked. And it looks a 1,000 times better than the obx, too.

Also, although I am a huge fan of the PMAC, the dome post renovation has that beat as well. And I was in the lakefront arena a couple of years ago and was dissapointed on how well it has not aged.....used to be a great facility, but now desperatly needs an update.

As much love and respect as I have for the Tigue, I can't agree with putting it over the Box in any category. Simply put, the Box has more of everything...seats, shaded seats, restrooms, concessions. A kid's area, a museum, and a wider, shaded concourse.
