McNeese just put new turf on the football field. The field house and weight room is top notch. The Jeaux has come a looooong way from where it’s been, all covered sitting, turf as well. And the brand new basketball arena is about to open up. Anyone saying McNeese is terrible is full of shite. It won’t ever compete with LSU but it’s up there

Second best? It's the only facility in the state with suites, and it's only slightly smaller than the PMAC.

I'd say it's best facility, hands down.

I agree with all of that. Much respect for McNeese.

Maybe. I say the third best. Lakefront, fogelman and then The cajundome. But it's well behind Tulane due to the basketball practice facilities ..

If ranking just on all in basketball facilities it would be Tulane, uno, ull then lsu .. arenas only it would be uno, Tulane, ULL then lsu

Maybe so. I've been to both and prefer Tulane's but I can see your argument. It's close for sure.

I can't see how you or anyone would rank Lakefront Arena or Fogleman over the Cajun Dome. Both are smaller, and only the Cajun Dome has suites. Sixteen suites, to be exact.

You're reasoning is flawed IMHO. You take points away from a school if they don't sponsor a particular sport and you give points to a school if they have a bigger arena. Bigger =\= nicer.

I'm ranking them by the available facilities. If UNO doesn't have those facilities they have to be ranked below. UNO has very limited facilities. What they do have are pretty nice, I grant you. The Privateers just don't have a lot.

Got you! And I'm not trying to defend uno it was just mind boggling to me how low you ranked them

UNO competes in a total of five, count 'em five sports. Most schools on the list ahead of them compete in football, softball, swimming & diving, etc. And have made significant investments into those facilities.

To me,it's a shame UNO doesn't field a swimming team. Their swimming facility is the best in the sate.

The newly renovated Cajundome is way nicer than Tulane’s or UNOs basketball arenas in a landslide

Compare them. Not even close. I don’t care which is “bigger”

SLU & Southern Baseball

SLU & Southern Football

I would place the facilities at Tulane well above ULL (Tulane has one of the best practice basketball facilities in the country) and although smaller both the basketball and baseball stadiums/arenas are nicer than the ones in Lafayette.

When is the last time you’ve been to the Cajundome or Tigue Moore field? If you haven’t been to either in the last year, your argument is invalid
