For LSU I’d say it’s the day game vs night game thing. Our fans pitch a huge fit if we get the 230 CBS game. It’s dumb. The other thing would have to be the graduates vs non-graduates fandom. People literally think they’re above others that didn’t go to LSU or graduate. Also people think if you didn’t go there then why are you such a big fan. For example if you go to another college in LA, especially ULL the people here sort of look down on LSU fans and assume they didn’t go to college bc they love LSU and not ULL. Is this an issue at other places too or is it just me?

And one more thing: don’t talk down to fans of colleges who actually GRADUATED from that college or even WENT to college for that matter while you sit there and struggle to actually spell the word “college.” Problem solved.

Yeah, this guy is some special shite......even for an lsu 'fan.' He made some ridiculous claims, first partially contradicted them himself, then refused to back up his rants.
Finally, when he realized how wrong he had been, rather than admit it and move on, he just makes up a whole bunch of other, nonsensical rants.
What a wonderful rep of 'flagship' behavior.

Well played, my friend. Well played.

You know, when I first read the title of this thread i thought "well, this is not gonna be pretty.' But by and large...and by that I mostly mean minus that OKtigger idiot....the thread was was the most part respectful and on the spot.

Here is how I summarize the results:

1. Although head-to-head on a couple of venues (Cajun Dome/PMAC, Tigue/AB) might swing to the Cajuns, no disputing who the overall winner is....by a long shot. It does seem that most agree that the CD is the best BB venue.
2. So there is not much real debate about who 2nd place belongs to: sorry Tulane, details and pictures leave no doubt whatsover that UL is 2nd only to LSU.
3. But that leaves Tulane in a solid 3rd place.
4. Next is LTU, who is definitely ahead of everyone else, although it seems that McNeese and SLU are doing a decent job of keeping up with the 'big guys.'

Overall a good off-season discussion.
