I guess he stopped taking pictures of Rush. That's what he was doing, last I heard. It's so odd that the scariest pitcher in history just wants to take pictures. He was even intense in interviews back when he played, but now he's super calm and relaxed.

Knew Johnson was always really into art and photography back when he was playing. He was night and day a different person off the field than the intimidating pitcher he was on the field. Pretty cool that he's exploring this career path after baseball when he could be sitting in a booth talking about baseball or just hanging out in retirement.

I guess he couldn’t go for accuracy and just do feathers and blood or many wouldn’t get it.

That's awesome. Especially since you'd assume that any college athlete taking photography/photojournalism was doing it just to stay eligible.
