Good thing Mayock and Gruden felt the need to trade away Mack and Cooper.
both were good trades for the Raiders.

#Raiders WR Antonio Brown and GM Mike Mayock got into it earlier this week, and it got ugly. Mayock clearly frustrated with AB posting his fine letter on Instagram. And now, a suspension for conduct detrimental could mean losing $30M in guaranteed money.

Well, guaranteed is really "guaranteed if". I'm guessing the raiders are going to say one of the ifs was violated

AB is starting to sound more and more like the girl who claims that she hates drama

This just seems like something that should have been buried in house and everyone move on. This won’t end well for anyone.

If I'm Chucky and Mayock, I pursue the conduct angle, and minimize the mistake of trading for AB. If possible? I'm not an NFL contract savant.

Who cares if it affects his attitude or effort. AB will melt down and never finish the contract anyways, or they'll eventually find his locker room cancer too detrimental despite on field output, before needing to release him anyways..

Recoup what you can..cut bait.

Just release him now.

He will be useless.

He will play just hard enough to not get fired and keep his contract.

Just cut him and save the money and heartache now. He will never put his heart into playing for the Raiders.

In fact I'm guessing he'll post something stupid shortly.

Right but Mayock should have taken the high road but now he has turned it into a full fledged dumpster fire.

Antonio Brown is such a loser

Agreed, except for the whole "pro athlete millionaire thing". That quite literally makes him a winner. I mean only doing something .02% of athletes accomplish is not impressive at all, am I right?

i think a lot of the shite hes done has led to some overreactions about him.
Until last season, the guy has been bulletproof. Who has ever really dogged him?

If anything people have gone easy on him until recently where it has become apparent that he’s an all-time distraction.

I'm going to guess he tried to address it verbally and Antonio was being a dick so he had to write the letter just so that it's documented.
