They are sitting at 6-1 and receiving votes for the top 25 in both polls.

Games remaining: Tx State, Arkansas State, South Alabama, Troy and ULM. One loss was vs Tulane.

In order for the Cajuns to have a chance they’d need army and Boise to drop two games. Preferably in ugly fashion. Meanwhile the Cajuns need to dominate.

Army remaining schedule: UNT, ND, UTSA and Navy

Boise remaining schedule: SD State, Nevada, San Jose St, Wyoming and Oregon St

It sounds like a very long shot but it could happen. It’s cool to see another Louisiana team in the mix.

Theyd have to win out and hope the AAC winner has more than 2 loses honestly

A 2 loss Army or Tulane gets in over them

They lost to Tulane at home, so they are definitely behind Tulane's odds

The chance is there, but quite a few things that they have zero control over have to happen.

That’s why I was hoping ULM would continue winning and both teams would be 10-1 going against each other in Malone Stadium.

They need to focus on winning and let the chips fall. I honestly don’t see Boise losing another game, but there’s about 6 teams ahead of the Cajuns right now in the pecking order.

Well two 6-7 seasons after going 11-3, 10-1 and 13-1 certainly made folks rightfully question handing the keys over to a guy who was basically just a college position coach at the G5 level.

I hope he proves me and all the other haters/doubters wrong.

I don't think Louisiana would jump over Tulane if both won out and I honestly doubt they'd jump Boise even if they lose another game.

There only shot was winning that Tulane game and going undefeated. Boise state has a much better resume

You can’t honestly say you were confident in the hire after his first two seasons

Louisiana probably needs some breaks to go their way
