I remember when Texas State was one of the favorites to get the Group of 5 playoff spot. They’re not very good at 4-4.

Them and maybe Troy were the two runaway favorites pre-season to win the SBC West.

Here's the Cajuns' Path. All need to happen.
1) Cajuns win out
2) Colorado State wins the MWC
2) A 10-2 Army, 10-2 Navy, 9-3 Tulane or 10-2 Memphis wins the AAC. i.e, the AAC winner takes another regular season loss and, for Army, a loss to Notre Dame as well. This gives them a chance and a good argument, but still not a chinch to go ahead of the AAC winner.
