exactly and this will of course only reinforce that perception and even on a more national level in the media.
I could have easily pulled for a Michigan St or a Oklahoma. It's going to be tough for me to pull for Clemson but even with all that I will do so grudgenly (and most likely stoically)

I don't think that is fair. There was a time when rooting for SEC dominance WAS in our best interest. We benefited highly from that perception (such as when we won a natty with two losses). The turning point for everyone should've been the Bama mulligan in 2011. But until then, YOU were a mouth-breather if you didn't understand the importance of conference strength.

I always say that I'm going to pull for the SEC team because I think that has more upside for LSU. However, once the game starts I always find myself pulling against Bama.
