Caps get a taste of what it's like to play Western Conference teams nightly.
Blues on a back to back, laid the lumber, bullied the Caps, and walk away with an easy 4-0 win.
Battle for the Central Continues for STL and Dallas
Loser gets Chicago in 1st round, definitely not the team u want to play. they seem to be coasting into the last weeks. 2 much talent to lay down come playoff time.

If the Hawks are coasting last few weeks then what are the Caps doing even further ahead?
I hate the Caps but your first sentence is retarded.

Caps 6-3-1 in last 10
Hawks 3-5-2

I still don't understand your point.
"A taste of playing the West"
Then use the excuse the Hawks are coasting.
One team has 111 points and clinched everything, the other has 93 and clinched nothing.
What exactly does beating the Caps, playing for literally nothing, have to do with giving them a taste of the West? They're far more coasting than the Hawks, regardless of last 10 games lmao.
That's like the Spurs resting players against an Eastern team and that Eastern team saying "giving them a taste of the East!".

Washington is 15-6-3 vs the West this year. It seems like the west got a taste of the Caps more than the other way around.
They are 8-2-2 vs the PAC and 7-4-1 vs the Central. That record vs the central is right on pace with the top teams in the Central.
Dallas vs central: 16-7-3
St Louis vs Central: 16-7-3
Chicago vs Central: 12-11-3
Washington vs Central: 7-4-1
Caps have just been flat out good no matter who they play. There is no doubt that the Central is the best division in hockey but i think the Caps would be right there fighting at the top with the other central contenders.

Preds are only 2 points back and playing better than pretty much every team in the league right now. Don't sleep on them overtaking the Hawks.

Pretty sure Stars and Preds have two games still remaining this season too.

Preds are coming on. Blackhawks in danger of being sent to play the Kings. Which would be awesome.

Yep, including the final game of the season.

Wild had a big game yesterday. Nice to see them beat the old North Stars in 1st round of playoffs

Zach Parise has actually been good again. He had a stretch (well most of the Wild did) where he was terrible. Firing Yeo paid off.

Hockey but not-NHL related. Anybody else been keeping up with the NCAA hockey? Some pretty good games this weekend with two remaining.
North Dakota and BC ahead to the Frozen Four.
Denver and Ferris State, and UMass-Lowell and Quinnipiac playing today for spots 3 and 4.

I have a bit, I randomly have a friend that currently goes to Quinnipiac. He goes to a lot of the hockey games and met Bucci at one this year.

Ask him about the Teletubbies at the games. You, him or both might know this reference.
Saw these 3 guys at a QC game 2-3 years ago. Don't know if they're still there.

Firing Yeo sparked them on a good stretch at the end here.

3/4 of Frozen Four set:
Denver
North Dakota
BC
watching Quinnipiac/UMass-Lowell, ESPNU currently.
3rd period with about 16 to play. QC up 3-1 after a goal just waved off. (Would've been 4-1)

Pens win!!!! 3-2 in OT. Crosby wins it with about 30 secs remaining!
Pens have won 8 of 9 and 5 straight on road.
Another back to back sweep! Detroit and NYR this time and both on the road!
