Yup, good win man. Not much to say. Pens were better last night.

Some shady shite behind the Vesey situation.

David Poile is giving some cringe worthy comments on it too

President's Trophy all locked up. Yay.

The Caps now join the Canucks as the only teams in NHL history to have won multiple regular season titles and NOT won the Stanley Cup.

For all of the talk of Caps chokes, they usually aren't the favorites. This is fairly new ground for Washington. This is only the 9th time the Caps will finish with over 100 points, and just the second time they will clear 110. The Caps are consistently good, but rarely great.

Time to start mainlining Tums.

I'd agree with this. This year is special for you guys, finally pulled it all together.

As for the Vesey situation, it's really shitty of the kid to not even meet with the team representatives when they flew up to his game / went to Boston. Vesey not only actively participated in the preseason training camps, but also received weekly coaching from the film coach. If you don't want to sign, then don't have the team invest the resources in you.

That being said, I was never a huge fan of promising a kid top 6 forward time and playoff minutes prior to skating in a regular game. It would mean demoting either Forsberg or Jarnkrok.

He's got a lot of nerve to not even meet with the team, especially with everything promised to him on a silver platter. The only way that it makes sense is if he's really just not ready for the NHL, and it will actually take him 2 years to earn a $1M+ / Year contract.

Preds will be fine, lots of talented youngsters in the pipeline. After seeing how last year's deadline trade ruined the team, maybe a blessing in disguise.

Canucks should have won in '11. Tim Thomas playing out of his mind stopped that.

Watching PTI, this is the 15th anniversary of the fan falling into the penalty box with Tie Domi.

Do you think Les Habs will hire Roy?

I don't know many good French Canadien coaches. The QMJHL is by far the worst of the Canadian junior leagues.

Grigorenko killed that streak.

I don't care what anyone says, getting Brouwer was just what the Blues need.

Pens beat the Sabres 5-4.

9-1 in last 10. 8-1 without Malkin.

Now 1 point behind the Rags for 2nd in Metro.

They almost have to but I know they shouldn't.

Mr Spaceley may be the one who can turn it around and it bothers me to say that. I have dislike for him due to the carnage he leaves. I have hate for Vigneault and MT right now.
