I'm not denying that CP31 is a good goalie

He is not the catalyst as you think he is.

It's Desharnais and Pernell, as they go the offense goes. Max Pacioretty has been scoring also.

I'm still fearful not re-signing Parenteau is going to be costly.

The MontreL defense has been suffocating, they're not giving up cheap goals and breakouts. They're also not taking stupid penalties.

He is a great goalie. Probably one of the best in the game right now. Its hilarious that we are having this conversation to be completely honest.

You think that CP31 is what makes the Habs go I don't know what to tell you.

It's hilarious that you think you know more about a Montreal team that you don't follow and don't watch regularly.

I invite you tell me what CP31 best statistical playoff was?

Also did you know he has a losing record in the SCP?

Yet he's great?

He's a great regular season goalie not a great goalie.

Do you understand how the 1-3-1 works? Its starts with a great goalie for one. Your defense wasnt "suffocating" when the Blues were controlling the game in the 1st period. Habs scored, 1-3-1 was set. Price swallowed all rubber thrown his way from that point on. The other two goals were created on the counter from the Blues trying to cheat to get bodies in front of the net on Price and or cheap deflections.

Look man, Blues fans know all about the trap with Hitchcock as our coach. If you cant/wont recognize Price as the focal point of the Habs success right now, thats fine and thats on you however, the rest of the hockey watching world sees it clear as day.

The Guy Bouchette 1-3-1 that Montreal doesn't run?

Montreal runs 1-2-2 and then they try to funnel things to the boards and counter

You have no clue I take it so I'm done

The defense is a 1-2-2 forechecking with token pressure to start the passes up the boards.

The 1-3-1 allows for the pass to be diagonal

Montreal wants the puck to go up to have 3-2 on boards with a backside breakout

Meh. I played Jr Hockey. Coached Midget Major AAA team to a US national championship.

So are you telling me the Habs ran a strict 1-2-2 after they took the lead? With the Blues known ability to gain the zone with their skill players? Thats how you sit on that lead?

Look bro, the Habs sank into a 1-3-1 hybrid to take the neutral zone away. Weak side D pivoted depending on the movement into the zone with he weak side wing collapsing to cover. How are you arguing this? You are 7-0 and playing to your teams strengths which is YOUR GOALIE!

I have watched parts of two other Canadiens games and it was the same song.

Good for you all. Dont know why you are so down on Price.

Looks like Bergy's all defense all the time strategy is paying off in the early going.

I'm happy. Go Habs Go.

Watched every team play so far expect for the Islanders and Devils and the Habs look like the class of the league so far because of Price.

Man that guy can kick out pucks. Wish the Blues had him

Good game.

Source tonight suggested #CBJ and #NJDevils could be trade partners. D Adam Larsson likely #CBJ target; RW Cam Atkinson part of #CBJ package

I see that SMS' favorite coach got fired four days ago in Russia and would be available. (Jesus, you mean Torts already happened. I thought you were joking that it might).

Torts

Feel bad for Richards, but really no excuse for this start. The talent is there.

I am really pretty broken up about this. Really liked Todd, but results weren't there.

As of yet, #CBJ players are only hearing news of Richards firing, Tortorella hiring via internet, Twitter. No official word from club.
