Yep. Blues dominated the early game then with the lead the Habs sat in a disciplined trap.

Price is the difference maker for Montreal. I know that is stating the obvious but he is THE catalyst for Montreal.

An amazing goalie.

SuperNovas win 2-1. 5-1 on the year, 3-0 on the road trip

So far so good, especially for a team that's been marred by slow starts out of the gate over the last few years.

I still question just how far they can go with their group of defensemen and a Niemi/Kari combo in net.

Still, so far so good.

Incorrect as catalyst for the Habs

It's Desharnaise and Pernell

Price is a guy who is solid but not great yet. He needs to win a Stanley Cup to be great.

Good guy 3-0

Now 7-0-0

I still won't believe in him until he steals a series or gets into a SCF.

Who is this with Pang? I don't like him near as much as the old Blues crew.

Its John Kelly, Dan Kelly's son, and he has been doing Blues games since 2005

Good lord...no offense but he is great. Calling him "solid" is laughable.

Oduya fit in so fast. Nemeth has been a pleasant surprise, at least in my eyes. and boy even when Klingberg doesn't get on the sheet, he's everywhere. his instincts are stupid for a kid his age

Tell me when he's won a series he wasn't supposed to? He has not yet.

Yes he plays big in regular season. But he is playing for a franchise that regular season awards don't matter it's SCF and Cup or bust.

But I've railed on CP31 since he blew the Boston series.

So Jaro Halak is "great" but Carey Price is just solid according to this thinking.

I tell you what, you give us a "solid" Carey Price for a "Solid" Brian Elliot straight up.

I'm glad we inked him to a long term deal. I think his limit is sky high when he stars to mature and fill out his frame. he still avoids contact on occasion deep in the zone

Halak is more mentally tough. But as I said, until he steals a series or wins a Eastern Conference I won't trust him in the Playoffs.

CP31 is insanely talented but folds at the worst times.

Just because Halak was jerked around in StL doesn't make my statement false.

I hope that Therriom sits him next game and gets him on 3:1 I think that's the ideal situation for him this year.

Oshie scores to make it 4-1 in the second against the Flames. Ovie has another. 81 in 81. This team is stacked.

Have you followed CP31 since he came into the League?

You must not understand his history.

Halak was shipped due to Prices contract and insane ability. But he is soft at times. Ever since Sochi he's gotten better but in times where he's needed to steal a series he can't yet as he still crumbles. The advanced stats show it also.

I'm sure you understand that being a Blues fan.

Regular season isn't where you are great.

We've got a barn burner and a hell of a game going on in Nashville right now. Tampa Bay and the Predators going back and forth. This is great hockey

Are you denying that Carey Price has been the catalyst for the Habs in their 7-0 start? That is exactly what I was saying. Nothing more, nothing less. He took the game over when the BLues were pouring it on in the first 1/2 of the game. Goalies like that dont grow on trees. Montreal hasnt exactly put solid teams out in front of him either.

6-0 1.00 GAA 176 SA 170 SV .966 sv%

GTFO man.
