You could say that but lineup data shows they were the same team with those two guys as without. It has been posted ad nauseum. What they lost on offense they made up on defense with those two guys out of the lineup.

They had near perfect health over the season while going 73-9. They were beat up to hell in the playoffs. It wasn’t the same team to say the least.

You cant be serious? The MAJOR difference is that Steph, Klay and Draymond all still played in those Finals. I'd take them at 75% healthy, than not at all...which is what Cleveland had to deal with the year before. Love and Kyrie didn't play at all. MAJOR difference!!

They were up 3-1...they must have been healthy enough then. That's an excuse...plain and simple

I don’t just make stuff up out of thin air.

What the lost on offense, they gained on defense. Literally.

88.2 points per 100 possessions allowed means they turned into one of the best defense of all time when they got those two non defenders off the court.

So this is why people clown on you…absolute galaxy brained idiocy in order to apply uneven standards to get the outcome you want to be true

There's simply no arguing with people like you. The very next year, with those two on the floor, the Cavs beat the Warriors and Kyrie and Love were both instrumental in the last 1 min of game 7. Take your analytics somewhere else. To sit there and tell me that the Cavs were better off without Kyrie and Love on the floor is desperate.

Boom you trying to turn a Curry/Lebron thread (after GS just won a title and James folded in the playoffs once again) into a Harden-centric thread may be your masterpiece.

Not better, didn’t say that.

Lineup data over that season says what they lost on O they gained on D with those guys out.

If regular season lineup stats won championships, the Jazz and Suns would have rings.

No no no...that's exactly what you are trying to say. That's why you are throwing around analytics lol.

You calling people silly about Lebron… now that’s silly.

Nobody argues he was the "most important" player. He was just the best player on the team while he was there.

that is definitely not nearly as clear as you seem to think.

you could win the argument either way and there's really not much pointing to either of them over the other

?

Acknowledging that Lebron is better in basically every metric you can think of than this boards favorite white player and Curry is just accepting the reality.

I literally hate Lebron and how he and his agency have made so many things about the NBA worse and the way he tampers with impunity, like with my team, and I wish his Lakers team nothing but bad things cause their failure means my Pelicans will continue having an abundance of draft lottery riches the next few seasons.

BUT, Lebron is still better than Curry all time, and yes, better than Bird

Warriors have a legit shot at a 2 peat unless someone steps up.

They way they played during the playoffs this year it will be an easy beat on that repeat

Only team I see challenging is an upgraded Celtics or Brooklyn should they get their shite together

LAL... Hell no
Mem... Ja is good but needs help
Mil... Maybe?
PHX... CP3 looked really old

I just don't see any other team there yet
