I find that a bit funny considering that Nolan Ryan left because he was pissing and moaning over GM Buzzy Bravazi lowballing him when he became a FA around 1980.
I guess they only wanted to pay someone else’s guys, not theirs.

Then the Astros made him the first million dollar player in sports history.

I knew I forgot one, and I’m an Indians fan. That just shows you how stacked they were.

nobody will ever top the Buffalo Bills losing 4 Super Bowls in a row. That’s the ultimate waste of elite talent
That’s just dumb.

I hope it was pointed out that you are a MORON if you think the buffalo bills wasted talent. They went to 4 straight super bowls. Like do you not realize how hard it is to even make a super bowl?

The former St. Louis Rams. In-house disputes + poor coaching + abysmal drafting = premature demise of the greatest show on turf.

The Cleveland Indians, the Detroit tigers, the chargers, and the saints

Mike Keenan. Nothing else needs to be said.

That's been a recurring theme among St. Louis teams over the past 20+ years.

C’mon.
They’ve won multiple championships in a very competitive sport. With Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the mix every year the CL is always going to be super difficult to win.
Man City and Liverpool as well as upstarts like Leicester make the EPL incredibly difficult as well.
If you want to go with soccer nominate the English national team. A complete shitshow for decades.

1960s Lakers.
Jerry West, Elgin Baylor and Wilt.
Finally won ONE title in 1972 despite having the best roster for years. Always making the Finals, always losing.
Then didn't do shite afterwards until Magic arrived in 1980. And even then they still couldn't beat the Celtics until 1985.
Greatest rivalry? Greatest one-sided rivalry. Celtics have won 9 out of 12 Finals meetings.

"Did you like those three Super Bowls?" Jones famously asked a critical fan during a call-in segment on The Ticket in 2001. "Did you enjoy those? I hope you did. I hope you did very much."

90’s New York Knicks had some very solid teams but couldn’t get the big one.
And they still suck despite their massive market.

Ironically, they didn’t sign top tier free agent pitchers. They signed 2nd tier veteran starters (Tommy John, Bruce Kison, Luis Tiant, John Candelaria, Don Sutton, Geoff Zahn) and drafted a ton of pitchers in the early rounds. The fist 3 selections in my draft class and a free agent signee were all pitchers that year all made it to the bigs in 3-4 years even though none of them were dominant in the minors.
