Alabama being outside the top 10 preseason is just something that will take a while to get used to

With our schedule, new coaching staff, and new players on offense/new system, I’m expecting anywhere from 10-15 final CFP ranking.
Would hate to miss it, but think we’ll be in it almost all future years with Kiffin.

All they did was take the playoff teams from last year and move them around a little. Zero thought put into this. Took out the two G5 schools and dropped in ND and UTa

Still think they should just put the winners of each FBS conference and then add 6 or 14 at larges, then go with it
I think it would be great if the playoff system included the winners of each FBS conference, plus either 6 or 14 at-large teams. This way, conference championship games (CCGs) would become really important again, since teams would be playing not just for the title but also for a better seeding in the playoffs. It would make things more exciting, and the losing team wouldn’t be guaranteed a spot, which means we wouldn't have to worry about a specific number of teams representing a conference.
Adding 14 at-large teams would allow us to include all the top-performing teams, helping us figure out which teams really are the best. It’s important to remember that being a champion doesn’t always mean you’re the best team overall.

Didn’t think Indiana would be ranked outside the top 5 given they’re defending champs and have a cakewalk schedule to a third consecutive playoff.

The coaches poll is the most meaningless thing in college sports. Unless coaches are flipping on ESPN+ on their flight back home to watch BYU take on Hawaii, then just get rid of it.
