Individual Stats: 31.2 PPG, 7.5 APG, 4.2 RPG

The Warriors finish the season as the seventh seed with a 46-36 record. They beat the second seed Rockets in the first round of the playoffs before losing to the Nuggets in the second round.

Gonna be interesting now that the Raptors have shown how to slow him when he doesn't have any offensive help.

I truly believe you had good intentions when starting this thread, and then just couldn't resist the urge to drop this bait down.

This will be an ugly quote in hindsight. So the same team the Raptors just took out is going to be great in the West without KD an entire year and without Klay for at least a significant part of the year. Yeah, ok. Curry is going to have a rough year next year because no one else on that team can shoot for shite. Good luck.

25 PPG

7 APG

5 RPG

And he will barely play 65 games. He won't be able to handle the pounding day to day. He isn't a warrior.

Oh, shut the frick up.

He overcome repeated ankle injuries and became MVP. Do you just magically not remember that even happening?

No playoffs is what I predict. They may even tank. Where do they get offense from? The team that ended the series v TOR would have no chance to make the playoffs in the west. We’ll see who they sign but as of now that’s not a playoff team.

Not to mention if Curry miss 7-10 games, those will be auto losses.

I vote for missing the playoffs. Opponents will key in and defend Curry. Warriors will be too limited on offense.

Curry, Iggy, and Draymond is still a good core. They'll still be a playoff team. If Boogie is healthy then even better.

They were completely rattled in the finals which isn't their MO.

It'll be super interesting to see if KD opts in and then what the warriors do with it. They'd basically be paying a ton of money to rehab him for another team. They may be able to work together on a hedge play.

This is an extreme take but I don't disagree with the premise.

They'll face difficulty managing his work load and he's 31, he needs it.

Prolly the smart move if they really intend to sign KD and Klay to max deals. They need offense... young offense. No one besides Curry right now can create their own shot.
