Hypothetically, if BIG and SEC stand put.

ACC - Add Notre Dame (full member) & steal West Virginia =16 teams

Big 12 vs Pac 12 for survival….

Big 12- Lose West Virginia
-Poach 5 PAC 12 teams = 16 teams

PAC- Poach best from Big 12. Add Boise St? = 16 teams

ACC schools are going to try very hard to kill the GOR. But thats very hard to do as evidenced by OU and UT. If enough schools find spots in the B1G and SEC it can happen, but not likely imo

When this is over the Mountain West may be a better league than the Pac. Wazzu and Oregon St may be all that's left of the Pac

I’d rather stay in the Big 12 than join the PAC-12

The PAC is dead after the LA’s schools leave

I read that the Fox Sports rights deal makes it more likely the Big 12 stays intact and steals PAC 12 schools.

New Big 12

TCU—Baylor—Texas Tech—Houston—Oklahoma St—Kansas—Kansas State—Iowa State—UCF—Cincinnati—BYU—Utah—Washington—Oregon—Arizona State— and a 16th team….

Stanford? Colorado? Oregon St.? Washington St.? Cal? Arizona? Boise St.? Memphis?

SEC should get rid of Mizzou and Vandy

Add FSU Clemson Miami and someone else that makes sense

Then tell the rest of the country to come up with their best 18 programs and start a 2 conference league

If it was based strictly on football/basketball and fan base if would make 100% sense

WVU would be a top 3 traveling fan base in the ACC from day one

Lots of schools don’t make sense in conferences anymore

WVU makes perfect sense…old rivals in the ACC and a great geographical fit.

ND's problem is they're also stuck to the ACC's media rights deal until 2036.

Exactly. Three of their biggest traditional rivalries are with Pitt, Virginia Tech, and Syracuse.
