Roger Goodell got away with Bountygate because of the Tim Tebow trade. By the time Tebowmania subsided a week later and the media finally moved on to that story, the narrative was well established.

Tim Tebow can be a playoff winning QB in the NFL with the right kind of team built around him.

Elgin Baylor was the most underrated basketball player of all time. Most of you youngins on this forum never seen him play so it doesn't really matter.

Albert Belle was the best hitter of his generation.

This has real legs.

My Dad always mentioned him in the 90's. Why does everyone forget Elgin when they acted like the athletes of the 90's revolutionized the game.

Baylor was all-NBA first team in 10 of his first 11 seasons, including his first seven. He averaged more than 30 points three times and more than 20 eight other times.

He averaged 27.4 points per game for his career, best ever for a forward and third highest all-time behind Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain. Baylor scored 71 points in a game, the only forward to get more than 65.

He scored 61 in a playoff game, still a Finals record. (The only player who scored more in a playoff game was Jordan, but he needed two overtimes to reach his 63.)

An average NHL game is much more exciting than a great NBA game.

This one is starting to gain traction, but college basketball has almost become unwatchable, INCLUDING March Madness. But more because of Time Out Derby and defensive slugfests than the familiar "everybody leaves early" excuse.

in terms of IRL it's the NHL game and it's really not all that close.

TV though still favors the NBA although as TV pictures have improved it's closer than it used to be.

Whenever people speak of the best of the best in the NBA Elgin is for some reason always left out. He is one of best players I have ever seen play. He was amazing.

You shouldn't have to win your conference to win the national championship. (sorry LSU fans)

I think its stupid that MLB parks are different sizes. (I have no idea what peoples' opinions are on this because I don't watch MLB)

The college football playoff should never go past 6 teams. (I'm hoping they stay at 4) When was the last time the number 7 team had a legitimate argument at being the best team that year?

Roy Jones Jr in his prime was the best boxer I have ever seen.

Mitch Richmond was the second best shooting guard of his generation next to Michael Jordan.

Every single player in MLB uses PED's. Nobody is clean.

This Tebow talk made me think of one that I'm pretty sure absolutely no one alive but me could believe. But I just have a feeling. And no, what happened last weekend has not changed how I feel.

Matt Barkley will retire as the universally recognized greatest QB to ever play. Point, blank, period. Not a USC fan. Not even close. I just feel it in my bones.

They are too many teams in the NFL, NBA, and NHL.

Promotion/relegation would be awesome for all sports.

In all the history of mankind, and forever more to come, there never was nor will there ever be a more talented thrower of a football than Daniel Constantine Marino, Jr.

LeBron and Kobe are both better than Jordan.

Jimmie Johnson is the best to ever wheel a stock car.
