Pollack, Falica, Rinaldi, and Wojcechowski all gone from Gameday. Reboot time?

Lot of fat has been cut from Gameday, one of the most bloated shows on television. Where does the show go from here? Obviously McAfee name pops up, but they can't rely on just him. The shows problems ran deeper. Surely more nuance than "dude bro" is required. In extension, ESPN's college football coverage is without a doubt about to get a major overhaul with the new landscape taking shape in 2024. I'm expecting new graphics, new announcers, and shake ups in overall coverage and how the sport is reported on.
What do you want to see from Gameday and ESPN as a whole in regards to college football?

He is apparently joining Fox's coverage (though I haven't seen anything reported on this since December), so we will see if the Big Noon lovers really hated the Bear.

I'm not a fan of Mcafee, college gameday also needs to get away from sad stories 50% of the show

This board bitches too much about Gameday.
As long as the show captures the energy of a college campus on a Saturday morning before a big game, it's fine.
I can do without the puff pieces.
I also want to see McAfee take more of a Corso-like role.
Speaking of Corso, he can stay as long as he wants, although it's painful at times when he struggles.
Gameday makes me happy, very happy. It's been a part of my life since I was a child.
The Bear was fine on there. What do you expect? Walter Kronkite?
No, I don't like the focus on gambling, but that's never going away with sports gambling being legalized pretty much everywhere and sports gambling companies advertising heavily.
I'd love to see more stories on the college towns, traditions unique to the university, and more crowd involvement. Instead of showing me some dry arse BBQ on a Traeger, bring in some real deal BBQ from a local joint.
Y'all just bitch too much on tMSB about any sports media personality.

Finally

To be honest, one hour is enough. Do one interview, one feature, then talk about the games for about a half hour. We don't have Rinaldi covering kids dying of eye cancer anymore, so that is good. I think McAfee is forced, but they do need some new energy.

frick this! I like watching Gameday.
I'd love it if they did more features on the host college/city and their traditions.

People bitchn about the the length are going to bitch about anything. Its not like nothing else is on from 8-11am. I will take 3 or 4 hrs of college fb talk to get ready for the daily slate of games over the today show

I want Corso retired and them to stop doing human interest stories. I also want Reece Davis gone and replaced with Fowler again.

They 100% can’t do that with Corso stumbling through basic sentences and every other story about an abandoned puppies shelter staffed by abused women burning down only to be rebuilt by the back up punter.

They can still do that within a 1 hour show.

Just do…..less.
4 dudes, 2 hours, talking football in an amazing atmosphere. That’s all it needs.

They can’t talk about every SEC game in one hour, much less every relevant college football game.

That would be a major reboot at this point, and is exactly the format needed.

They let all of those people either walk or took their jobs. But bringing in McAfee makes the show even worse. Business wise, it makes sense because, for whatever reason, this generation seems to like him. But he’s a hard watch for me.
They need to bring back Fowler, have Herbstreit, and one other former coach or player (not named Desmond Howard), make the show an hour and we’re good. No need for the other two or three subhosts they have, and Rece Davis and his petulance can go work college basketball.
I wish Corso was in better health but I’m sure they’ll keep him on there until his end. It’s just painful and uncomfortable to watch him now.
