Apparently the UFC has a number you can call 24/7/365 to check on the legality of supplements. I'm sure the MLB has something similar.

I was with 2. Got traded a couple years into my career. I rather not say which 2 With as much as I've already put on here, it wouldn't be too hard to figure out who I am(which is a nobody, btw ).

That's crushing for Pittsburgh.

Tough to be competitive when you're in a small market and you lose your best player for half the season.

They have lists of what is acceptable and lists of supplements that have been taken off the previous year's "ok" list.

But at this point, if you fail a test, you're either an IDIOT of epic proportions, or you've made the decision that secretly taking the banned substance is worth the risk.

It takes a 10 minute phone call to your trainer to figure out if the shite is ok to take. Idk who these guys are trying to trick.

Is this correct? Honestly asking.

edit: just read it. Dang...guess I've never paid enough attention to these things.

The rule is fairly new. Melky Cabrera and Johnny Peralta became eligible for the postseason after coming off suspension a few years ago and I guess MLB didn't like the look of that.

Kind of dumb, IMO, since it makes the penalty nonuniform (you miss more games if you team makes the postseason) and potentially screws with the postseason competitive balance.

Yeah that's still an open investigation apparently.

I think I heard that he has been convicted or suspected of 5 DUIs in the past 5 years like Jesus man hire a driver.

Franchises stock their training room and clubhouses with legal substances, too. They do all the work for you. You have to go out of your way to cheat

Sounds like he'll be the Rangers 3B in a couple of years when Beltre either retires or gets traded to a team that has a real shot at the playoffs.
