It was no good. The uprights go to infinity, so if it goes straight over them it's like the ball hitting them.

Kick was not good. It went straight over the upright, which is by definition no good.

But the rule is if it is staight over the uptight it means the ball doesn't go inside of the uprights. I didn't make the rule just stating it.
