He gave a decent interview on NFL Network. Russell Crowe was his NRL team's owner and he apparently knows him well enough to call him Rusty.

Guy can basically call anyone whatever he wants lol

Can’t believe he was that big and playing rugby league and not rugby union.

According to him in interviews he was basically a " role player" who played 10-15 minutes per half of an 80 minute match. Says he was asked to lose 50 pounds to serioisly think of succeeding in Rugby, but he could not.

His 5.12 in the 40 would have placed 7th among OTs in the combine . He had 22 reps on the bench whike Shaquem Griffith did 20 & Saquon Barkley /Nick Chubb managed 29.

Good story & hope he makes it ,but nothing extraordinary athletically in comparison.

Or like he should be tying women to railroad tracks and tiptoeing out of there.

Dude would make a hell of a tight end. Great speed it looks like. If he can catch he could be a huge dual threat.

That is what I was thinking also from videos though if he ran a 5.12 40 that isn’t good. But he plays straight up. Will need to learn to get low in the nfl. I don’t think he will make it.

I was thinking that would make more sense than tackle too

Obviously a project guy but it takes too long to develop an NFL caliber tackle imo

On NFL Network, they said he had 295 lbs of lean body mass. The next best in this draft class is in the 260's.

“Wouldn’t you think DT would be an easier transition?”

Who was the last successful 6’8 DT? Seems like an o-lineman would get leverage on him pretty regularly IMO. Definitely a project, but think it’s the right position for someone so tall.

I think one of the Armsteads is about 6'8". Calais Campbell is close to that big too.

It says lb in your title..so I sure would like to see him fill a gap at the goal line.

That is a BIG athlete, mobile, agile, fast guy.

Maybe DE in a 4-3 scheme

He looked pretty badass throwing them little white boys around. Let’s see how it translates to the NFL.

Concentrate on the speed and his measurables. Show me anyone, NBA included, that is 6'7 and 350 that could run as well, or better than those rugby whites hes plowing.

That's what has their attention, obviously.

I would think he can catch as well...TE? Goal line FB, TE? Goal line DE?

His acceleration is out of this world for his size, FB isn't a reach.

I'd like to know his 40 time

That video makes me think of the "how many men would it take to kill an adult male gorilla" last week.

Sure, his videos are great, but offensive and defensive linemen in the nfl aren’t 5’9 white boys.
