The guy is worth hundreds of millions of dollars with investments across the globe. His future looks pretty damn good.
The deal could absolutely include Norman being out. You think he gives a crap about that? LMAO.

That is fine. I just wonder how someone as obsessed with this as you didn’t know that Grayson told Rory to frick off. Where are you getting your news on what is happening with the PGA? It’s clearly not a good source. You didn’t even know about what was said at the players meeting. Do better.

you said the PGA doesn’t care about him
So, in simple English, you lied. Yes?

So I was wrong when I said “nobody”.

Why would it make any sense for PIF to spend billions on the more popular established PGA tour, to only continue to dump money into liv and try to recruit against the tour you just dumped billions into it?
Uhh, they are merging if the deal goes through. They won't be recruiting against the tour. Don't you think the players will now be playing where they want, as in LIV and the Tour?
No way they merge and make these players choose.

So if the players are going to be choosing like you say, why is LIV “going full on recruiting” mode now?

Reading comprehension is not your friend.
The entire quote from the article is about the team format being brought to the merger and how some players have equity in their teams. If the format is brought to the merger, the player quoted about recruiting is not referencing recruiting to LIV. He is talking about recruiting to his team.

Maybe Rory is replacing Matt Wolff and Nike is buying out Smash.
LIV doesn’t play again for three weeks. Rahm to join Sergio on the Fireballs in Spain!

None of the players from the PGA know for sure what will happen. Rory can pop off about punishing LIV players all he wants, but the only info he has right now comes from Jay Monihan who has already back stabbed him. Monihan bent the knee to the Saudi PIF. The Saudis hold the purse strings and you can bet they will take have some influence on what happens on the PGA. Who knows what they will do, Phil Mickelson told us “they are scary mother - - - - - - “.

I would think the LIV players are in a state of flux like everyone else. All any of us know is that the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, and LIV Golf -- have been aligned. Whatever that entails people are only speculating.
The team concept is the biggest mover and shaker in this whole thing. It's the only thing I've heard that is making the big move to DP and PGA. The rest is just rhetoric on top of more speculation.

Id be willing to bet ...it absolutely matters to him. Basically like saying a prime Greg Norman being left off a presidents cup team wouldn't have mattered to him much less than ego....he's the (was) CEO..if he doesn't "give a crap" about being involved going forward then there is something amiss

For those repeating what Rory said about LIV players not being let back in or paying some kind of penalty, remember, the spectre of an anti-trust suit hasn't gone away. Let's say the player's board sets the return fine or payment really steep for the LIV guys. I can guarantee there would be a Mickelson, Koepka, Johnson, et al vs PGA Tour suit filed in a nanosecond.

I mean this is close to a repeat of what happened to him 30 years ago with the WGC.
Norman tried to create the World Golf Tour. Tim Finchen, then PGA Tour Commssioner, basically responded the same way then that the PGA did when LIV came up. Norman didn't have the financial backing to fight the PGA back then that he had with PIF, but the response of the Tour and the threats to players leaving were substantially similar.
Flash forward a couple of years later, Finchen, along with the Euro, Australian, Japanese, and South African circuits formed the International Federation of PGA Tours which would announce the creation of the WGC.
Norman alleges Finch told him he'd keep him in the loop of any plans for creating Norman's idea of a world tour series. His exchange with Finchen after learning of the deal was less than pleasant.
That whole thing is why Norman has had a 30-year vendetta against the PGA Tour. He was rich then, and he's rich today. But he still has a massive ego, and this deal going down behind his back is really going to sting all over again if he's completely cut out for the second time. To say he wouldn't give a crap couldn't be further from the realistic truth.
