Players and caddies do not socialize. At all. There may be the rare occasion when they do but for the most part iff the course they stay completely separate. I’ve known a few and it’s a shite life.

Lol I was holding off considering his history of depression and substance abuse. RIP though depression is horrible and can effect anyone regardless of money, success, family situation etc.

Sure, but if either the golfer or the caddie is having a crap mental health day I’d expect the other to be there for them. I’m not saying they have to go out for dinner, but damn.
I understand it’s not an easy travel schedule. But they play 20-30 weeks a year. For some that’s 1/2 the year off from tournaments.

I do find it a little weird that his fiancée wasn’t mentioned by name.
Obviously it’s speculation that she doesn’t necessarily deserve right now, but I wonder if something went wrong in their relationship.
