can you point to a player that has made it on the police blotters since that were recruited under Chip/Helfrich?
Y'all aint squeaky clean bro

Both Oregon State and Oregon appear in a recent study of college football player arrests over the past five years conducted by former San Jose Mercury News reporter and data guru Mike Rosenberg.
The Beavers program tied for 15th nationally with 16 arrests during that span, while the Ducks tied for 28th with 11. Washington State led the nation with 31 arrests during that period, while Colorado (13), Arizona State (nine) and Arizona (eight) also ranked in the top 50.
Of course, this study almost exclusively spans the Mike Riley era at Oregon State, as Gary Andersen took over the program this past December. Oregon was coached by both Chip Kelly and Mark Helfrich during the time of the study.

Wouldn't you know...they kept Belotti's recruits on the team. The only player RECRUITED by Helfrich or Chip to get arrested was Colt Lyerla. His arrest came after being kicked off the team.
We have been squeaky clean the last two years with a team assembled by Helf and chip. They factor character a lot more than Bellotti whom took fliers.

Troy Hill?
James would be a Chip recruit, Kelly became coach in 2009 the same year James was a freshman.
Harris was a freshman on the 2009 team as well
Unless you believe Chip did no recruit either player when a change in coaches was announced

James redshirted in 2008 you dolt. Kelly just became the OC during his recruiting cycle, so I am sure he had a hand in his recruitment. However, Kelly was very clear in 2009 that he was changing the recruiting philosophy.

Then wikipedia is wrong on James, but right on Harris...
So we've got Cliff Harris and Troy Hill and whoever you mentioned now

Yes. He was a Chip recruit and I forgot he got arrested. I think Tyree Robinson may have been arrested as well. There have been less than a handful of incidences with Helf and Chip's guys. WAY better than the Belotti era. Of course, Mike had to take some fliers to get Oregon where they are.

No one cares about arrest unless they're a starter anyway

I told my dad I bet Kyler was going to transfer too last week. He is in the doghouse. When I saw the notification that A&M QB was leaving last week I just assumed it was KM and not KA.

I think he'd be really good in Oregon's as well. The problem with him is he's really small. The few times I saw him play he looked a midget out there
