A couple of these aren’t highly ranked academic institutions for nothing.

No. The difference is Coach K, Bill Self, etc, have about four middlemen in between themselves and the handler. Will Wade did not.

Least shocking news in history. They won’t fire Penny unless he’s given a lengthy show cause or the NCAA threatens the death penalty if they don’t.

Has Mississippi State ever won anything?

If they weren't fortunate enough to join the SEC in the 1930s, they would be in Conference USA right now.

We won a mother fricking Natty last year bitch. When has Tiger High won fricking anything? About a third and two thirds of their tourney appearances and Final 4's are vacated by being cheating arse useless cheaters. Again, where is mighty Memphis State's Natty? Where? Cheater.

It looks like most of the charges accuse Memphis of not cooperating with the original investigation.

They didn’t turn over text messages and phone records when requested. Coaches and staff weren’t made available to be interviewed when scheduled. One staffer was “coached” by university administrators before interviewing. A former assistant wiped his hard drive.

Hardaway’s main violation is a generic charge that he "failed to demonstrate that he promoted an atmosphere of compliance within the men's basketball program."

Also, Memphis is facing aggravating circumstances because they have a history of violations dating back to the 80’s.

Because basketball is their top program there. At LSU you can hammer them and no one will care during football season
