even if so that would make him "one of the best CFB running backs" not the best

I think he is better, but im not going to argue with anyone about which is truly better. Is what my statement means.

of course you happen to be the only one giving my opinion any attention in this thread.

what's wrong w/ running the pro style offense?

it's a great offense if you can recruit at a very high level consistently

Arkansas has beat lsu 2 years in a row and almost beat bama 2 years in a row with sub par recruiting

Even counting their guys from way back when, I'm 47% sure Alabama still takes this.

Went and Youtube'd the Spring Game. Looks just like Oregon's scheme. HB Dive as the base with quick, play action passes branching off of it. I must say, if I'm a Penn State fan, I'd be excited. Would love to see LSU run some of this stuff

PSU should not have to resort to using flag football techniques to have a good offense. Pathetic.

"should"?

are you 5?

they play Ohio State, Mich and MSU. They have to do something to excite would-be recruits. they are still under the shadow of the pederast.

Too bad that JoePa took a dirt nap instead of being forced to watch this from prison.

Well, sorry but it's ingrained. The public knows PSU has Linebacker U. It's been that way forever man. It's about college production not stupid draft picks. An entire team can make guys look good.

PSU was far more dominant in the 60's, 70's and 80's at the position...and if you want to act like "what have you done for me lately" Miami was voted #2 behind Penn State recently by college football writers. USC was #3. Ohio State was #4, Bama was #5 - As linebacker U of the the last 30 years.

So I don't know what you are going on about.

Penn State has been known as linebacker U for 40 years and is continually known as that.

You and your fanbase might have a problem with that...but the rest of college football doesn't. You lost...this argument has been over forever.

Sweet answer. And it doesn't matter what is ingrained in the fan base.

Alabama has had 11 first round LBs to PSU's 5. Alabama has 4 LBs in the CFB HOF to PSU's 3. PSU's last AA was 2007. Alabama has had 5 since then. I think Alabama has more all american's as well. And they also have much more in recent years. Pick a reason why PSU is LBU, and I think Alabama has a better claim. This isn't about opinion.

It'd be like someone claiming to be the fastest man in the world while the guy next to him is literally faster.

No matter how you slice it, Alabama has a better claim than PSU.
