Well the one major player is in jail, one is dead, and the others will probably never work in athletics again (but could still face legal action via lawsuits and etc).

NO. It would be like Kirby Smart x100 to kill a few people over the course of 30 years. Then Saban x 100000 covering it up and getting help from Mal Moore and the rest of em. If Alabama did that I'd say burn it to the ground.

Then why aren't those individuals being prosecuted if they are guilty?

don't think you see the bigger picture, my friend. All you see is blood and retribution. What I see are tens of thousands of people who are about to be hurt financially, people who have never set foot on campus, due to these impending NCAA penalties. But you are fine with that because you justify it as being Penn State's fault that those people are financially ruined and being thrown out of their houses and apartments. Just so long as you get a warm, fuzzy feeling in your chest over "justice being served," you couldn't give a shite less about how this will impact those who had absolutely nothing to do with this whole mess.
Those are the hardships of life son. Sometimes shite trickles down to you that you had no hand in. We are all faced with challenges everyday. It is not the challenges that define us, but how we respond to said challenges. Life isn't fair and never will be, but when crimes of this magnitude take place actions need to be taken against all responsible parties. PSU and the Paterno family will have to shell out millions of dollars but the buck shouldn't just stop there. PSU failed to live up to the moral code it set for itself and the code of the NCAA and the moral code of being a human being. They have to take accountability for this.

Why? It would involve ONE coach of ONE team and a couple of guys in the administration.
Except it's never just a couple guys. It's like anywhere you've ever had scandal or wide spread cheating in a program. Most people in the AD know what's going on but also know they'll be alienated if they say anything.

What does the FBI say? Does it name other individuals who committed crimes? Who are they? What are their names?

Well said

Then why aren't those individuals being prosecuted if they are guilty?

Who are these people? Name them and no IDAF about the guy working for the FBI. Its always good to question authority. If he's so good his arse would have all the names that you seem to be missing.

They use aliases. We've given you those aliases. You mocked them.

I like how so many casually say they could take their teams program away and support that decision under same circumstances. They would be kicking and clawing...then people would yell cult at them and group them in as one and want go burn it down

Where does that make sense?
Please link the punishement handed down to Matt Barkley due to Reggie Bush being guilty.
You won't and you can't.
USC was punished due to violations committed by USC.
I'm sure they have a set period of time they can investigate certain matters, but Bush played for USC as late as 2005 and the investigation began before Barkley signed with USC.

If the FBI did that, then that's insane. Par for the course for a governmental organization. So instead of individually punishing people who committed crimes, we'll just take down a football program. That will fix things.
And you support this course of action?
And you support this course of action?

Because the culture of covering all this up for roughly half a century was facilitated by more then just those they could prove were directly involved. The students who still openly JoePa and have railed against the Board of Trustees is a good example of that mentality. And the only way to rid of that mentality is for the NCAA to send a clear message.
I hate it for the student-athletes involved but there's no way to address the issue without someone getting hurt. And Penn State certainly didn't give a shite about the boys they helped Sandusky abuse by facilitating him.

BUT. THEY. HAVE.
Jerry Sandusky, the man responsible for EVERYTHING, is going to prison for the rest of his miserable little life. And those who covered up his crimes will soon follow him. You are talking about taking action against an entire school and a community when those who instigated this culture of corruption have already been dealt with by the law. Life is indeed unfair but there are times when you can avoid shelling unfair punishment on innocents who had nothing to do with anything.

Well, they can feel good about themselves because they think they are punishing bad guys and they don't have to do anything to feel good about themselves.
