I honestly care way more about winning games than what some call us, but this shitshow of a thread and mentioning of SEC network got me curious.
So I looked at this year’s diamond sports schedules, and we play three SEC teams. LSU (both sports), Mississippi State (baseball) and Alabama (softball).
Two of those three refer to us as “Louisiana” on their season schedule. And as well all know due to constant whining from Tiger fans, Alabama controls the SEC and all their actions. Schedule, refs, etc.
The wheels are coming off!

First, I FIFY, lol. And keep in mind, in the same year that UL made a huge name for itself nationally, all laturd could do was embarras themselves on national tv. Good for them that they had few nationally televised games last year.
And no one is surprised that they were too chicken to play us when the chance came up. Got to hold on to those long-ago W's.

It's sad because there's a lot of good people that come from LSU. But the constant whining about our name and the conspiracy theories concerning the SEC's "favoritism" is what gets old quickly.

Who said I care? I’ve been here a while. The Cajun fans have long discussed what their school name is and what they choose to call their athletic teams.

You guys in the early part of this century were the current day equivalent of the “call me by my correct pronouns! I am a zer you bigot!” Another poster was right, y’all “won” that battle over the name. Just like the transwhatevers have won theirs.
