It literally says Paul Mainieri on Louisiana baseball. I'm sorry people don't think of your irrelevant school when you say the word 'Louisiana'. 95% of people think of the state as a whole.

If Paul was speaking for ULL, he should have called them by their preferred athletic name, “Louisiana’s Ragin Cajuns”.

First of all, all sports people, like 100% of the folks on this board, and especially baseball fans...know that UL is playing La State this week. And all these same people know that UL is known as "Louisiana.' It therefore does not require much rational thought to figure it out.
On the other hand, if someone doesn't figure it out that is on them.

LSU was also playing La Tech on Monday. He could have been talking about the state of Louisiana baseball in general. You know, the 10 other division 1 baseball universities in this state.

Its you demanding a change in the status quo. Let em know THERE'S NO UNIVERSITY OF LOUISIANA! Be sure to tell ESPN they're breaking the state law when they call us Louisiana.

-Finished the Football season ranked #15 nationally
-Softball is #7 in the country
-Baseball is in the top 35
-ESPN and pretty much most major sports publications call us Louisiana
No, let's compare to La Tech:
-Beat you in basketball, baseball, and will beat you in softball (you lost to ULM in softball yesterday
) -finished 5-5 in football with a spanking to a Sun Belt school in the bowl game
-your AD took a lower position at Vanderbilt to leave Ruston
And we are the irrelevant ones?

The hilarious part about this is that you know deep down exactly who he was talking about. And it wasn't the state as a whole.
