Legally speaking it is his child too.
I would totally support a walk-away option for men.

Paul George shouldn't have to lose the right to a lot of his income for nearly 20 years just because she got pregnant when she has lots of options to not be a parent.

Are you asking for an expansion of the welfare state? Are you a millionaire that doesn't feel like taking responsibility for your child? No worries, that's what taxpayers are for!

She hit the stripper jackpot. I'd imagine a lot of her coworkers are pretty damn jealous right about now.

False Dichotomy.

Women can put children up for adoption.

Go shame them for that before you start criticizing my idea for gender equality.

Pretty sure he has to authorize it. The mother can't unilaterally put the kid up for adoption.

Also, he should have wrapped his shite up.

She could have said "put one on or its not happening"

I get told that on a nightly basis

No, that child would likely just end up in a government-subsidized group home.

Can't he just sign away any parental rights to the child that would exclude him from child support?

It's possible she gave him a bad condom and he just assumed it was going to work. It's not unheard of in professional sports for certain types of women to basically entrap professional athletes and get pregnant by them. Bad condoms are one way of doing that.

That said, if he didn't want to have a child, he could have avoided having sex with the stripper. He's still stupid.

Oh wait, the mom does but the dad doesn't?!

Doesn't that bother anyone else?
