Patriots turned off their headsets so no advantage was had

To be fair, there are conflicting reports about whether or not the Patriots turned off their headsets.
As for the rest of this thread, some of you have trouble understanding it's entirely possible to believe the Patriots would have won regardless, while still thinking that they are full blown cheaters and at fault.
In other words, I don't believe the headsets are an excuse for Gronk running wild in the Steelers secondary, but you've got to be naive and/or a Patriots superfan to ignore the fact that this is entirely plausible given the Patriots checkered at best history.

Once again the Patriots didn't turn off the their headsets. Bill just said they had issues too, if you beleive him
Look Patriot fans, when you have a guy like Tomlin, a great no excuse bullshite coach, call out your organization, it is different than some tards on the Internet saying it

Tomlin's the biggest cry-baby in the NFL, not just among coaches but all personnel... so I would take his word with a few pounds of salt.

The Pats were at home, so they know how to deal with technical issues better. I don't think it's a real story but I understand why Tomlin is mad

If you think that I am defending the Patriots, then you are reading my posts wrong. I said that it was intermittent, so it only negatively affected the Steelers and the Pats did not have to shut their radio off. How is that pro New England?

Well he said it happens every time in Foxboro. So in light of recent events, I'm sure some are more sensitive to this kind of thing.

or the simple fact is that their offense may not have a hard of a time calling plays out without a headset than say the visiting steelers right?

Yep. Tomlins press conference has been the most damning thing for their organization in my eyes. He gave us a glimpse how the other coaches and teams view the Pats. Brush it aside and call him a crybaby of you want, but all the smoke is beginning to become suffocating

From the start of the game through the opening 14 minutes of the first quarter, the Steelers' coaches' headsets were receiving the Patriots Radio Network broadcast of the game.
The broadcast was so loud that the Steelers coaches were unable to communicate, and the NFL rule is that if one team's headsets are not working the other team is supposed to be forced to take their headsets off. It's what the NFL calls the Equity Rule.
Strangely enough, whenever an NFL representative proceeded to the New England sideline to shut down their headsets, the Steelers headsets cleared. Then as the representative walked away from the New England sideline, the Steelers' headsets again started to receive the Patriots game broadcast.

Should have posted it, but I called the next line of defense would be the "everyone does it" route.
