I must be getting old because I do not get the pat Mc afee phenomenon at all.
People being upset that he didn’t get a show on Sirius and now getting a big contact for college game day

He is wearing his black tank tops. It’s his thing. Watch his daily show and you will know. This is the first time in 2-3 years I have got up with intentions of watching game day. Only cause of mcafee. Gameday is stale. They need someone like mcafee. He’s trying to find how to fit in and let his personality show.

I don't enjoy McAfee all that much, but it's pretty smart of them to try to appeal to a younger crowd.

McAfees real draw is relating to NFL players on a more personable level, so they open up a little more and show personality in their interviews.

I actually think McAfee and his show are pretty terrible.
However, I COMPLETELY disagree that he’s been terrible and am actually surprised at how much better it’s been. Do some of y’all remember how fun and lively it used to be pre-Corso stroke?!? This damn show is supposed to almost poke fun at itself while being in love with college football. Hell they still use that awful country song with Big Rich or whatever the black country rapper is to kick it off.
It got way too serious for a while there. This isn’t some Xs and Os scheme podcast. It’s what you’re supposed to have on in the background to give you a couple chuckles and to get you excited while whipping up some eggs and sipping on a screwdriver.
Good for ESPN, feels so much better.

I don't think he's that bad. He's about to be on ESPN a lot more too, I think he's going to have a simulcast on select college games on ESPN2 doing his commentary.
