Bryce Young possessed NONE of the physical tools needed to be a good NFL QB. That isn't the Panthers fault.

A team drafts a guy with no physical tools to be an NFL QB and it's not their own fault?

carolina is probably the worst franchise in professional sports.

They're up there but the White Sox take that title.

Young can be good, but he does not have the physical attributes to be great. Even being good is going to be difficult for him unless he is in the right situation with a QB friendly scheme complimented with a good RB and defense.

Teams that should consider him, and he'd also be a better fit for:
-49ers could trade for him to be a cheap backup for a couple years behind Purdy
-Dolphins need a good backup for Tua's concussions. Though I would still have concerns about Young's ability to hit the deep ball to Hill & Waddle consistently.
-Rams, McVay has continued to make Stafford be good after some thought he was on a downhill slide and helped put Baker in position to earn the contract he's now got. Though they have more of a drop back scheme that does not play to Young's strengths.
-Texans ironically move the pocket a good bit and have a good team built to not solely rely on the QB to be the savior.

Trey Lance, because I honestly think Young is below the physical minimum to play QB in the NFL, and at least Trey Lance has the physical requirements.

Lance should have played WR or DB, he has no ability to see the field at all

playing QB when you cant see the field and anticipate is an unfixable proposition

reminds me of Jordan Jefferson and Carson Wentz, you can disguise this QB lack of vision with athleticism and one read throws but when that doesnt work your offense is cooked

Young would need to go somewhere that can run a version of the Saints with washed up Drew Brees offense, lots of quick reads and short perimeter throws

Another failed Owner QB pick. The owner wanted him. Just like the Browns owner wanted Manziel

The throw on 1st and 25 when the game was tied was a fricking dime. Props to him for turning it around because he looked like Eeyore when playing early in the season.
