Pretty fricking stupid but it likely didn’t change the outcome

Eh. KC had 8 seconds and no timeouts and were out of FG range. Not impossible for them to still win but much more likely it would be going to OT

Mahomes picked up first down.

80% chance they weee going to win at the point. Penalty just made it a 95% certainty.

Without the penalty it would've been a 56 yard attempt.

Quick out for 5 yard gain.

NFL kickers are easy 80% from 50 yards.

Obviously anything could happen but odds were not in favor of that game going to OT, even before the before the penalty.

They had no timeouts left. They play the sidelines and can take that way. Anything in the middle of the field is OT.

Also, it was a 15 yard penalty - 5 yd out means a 55 yarder, a kick he missed in warmups.

Isn’t he the dude from Africa that played at Texas?

He made himself the victim of a fricking drama queen and terrible officiating.

He had a pretty good season. Turnovers and refs cost the Bengals more than Ossai

Yes it did. Instead of a 60 yard field goal it was a 45 yard field goal. Game goes to OT where both teams have a possession. I like the Bengals winning in OT in that scenario.

But he made the 45 with plenty of distance and it split the uprights.

Not saying it was a given but odds were much better that KC was going to win even without penalty.

That dude can’t show his face in Cincy ever again

Obviously the refs had their dirty hands involved but Ossai was the nail in the coffin.

Serious???? I don’t feel bad for him at all. The guy gets paid millions to play the game and he can’t do one of the simplest things a football player should know… always know where you are on the field.

Romo and Nantz didn't even acknowledge him while he's sitting there bawling his eyes out on the sideline.

It was pretty incredible. Not one word about him while the cameras were focused on him for 5 mins. Instead... 'Mahomes' ankle!'

Are you sure you are watching football? No way was that an 80% chance. 8 seconds. No timeouts. Still a 60 yard field goal. As it was the 45 yard field goal would have only been good from maybe 53 yards at most.

yep. The Bengals punter sucked all freaking game. And his "longest" punt, was straight to the returner, low and let him return it almost to the line of scrimmage.
