Oakland is making progress. That Nashville stadium looks awesome right next to the Cumberland River. I don't see the Orioles going there though. The Rays going there. Or expansion is certainly possible though.

Another key win for the Oakland Athletics’ pursuit of a new Howard Terminal ballpark, as the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC) staff recommends approval of the ballpark-centric project.
The BCDC was asked by the A’s to remove the Howard Terminal development site’s 56 acres from port designation, clearing the way for designation as a mixed-use development site. The influential state Seaport Planning Advisory Committee had earlier recommended rejection of the request, saying that the entire Port of Oakland be reserved for long-term shipping. That recommendation was rejected by BCDC staff: with port officials saying the Howard Terminal site was not needed to accommodate future growth (the ballpark site is current used as storage, not as a working port), the BCDC moved forward with a preliminary recommendation for the full board to approve the A’s ballpark plan. Staff had already given preliminary approval of the project; this paves the way for a vote from the full board, expected for June 30.

The Royals are going to Vegas not A’s.

Louisiana needs an MLB team. Come on down!

Nothing more than the Angelos family trying to con money from the tax payers. He and his sons have ruined a once proud, successful organization.

The stadium just sucks and is small. When the dome comes it will be great.

If and big If New Orleans could clean it’s act, Louisiana and Mississippi would definitely support the team. Build a new stadium on the fairgrounds with a retractable roof in a decent part of the city. It would fail if you built it in the West Bank or East and don’t come at me with,”New Orleans couldn’t support a minor league team, why would they support a major b.s.”. No one cares about minor league, at least not enough to spend money on. If I’m spending money to watch baseball, it’s either going to be LSU or Major league.

Orioles attendance is down because they have shite ownership and suck. When the team is good, people will show up.
Tampa and Oakland are on the relocation list. Manfred specifically called those two out. Oakland let the Warriors and Raiders walk, so at this point I assume all stadium hurdles are caused by the city.

Thought he meant Camden too, but he meant Nashville and Nissan Stadium.

He was referring to the Titans stadium situation.

...Expansion? Manfred did say that future expansion isn't off the table.
Expansion is a huge financial investment for any new location. Its much more economical to get a franchise
to relocate

Tampa seems like the obvious candidate for a Nashville relocation with Oakland moving to Vegas. Keeps the divisions the same without any weird geographic anomalies
