reedy men in suits are to thank for ruining CFB traditions.
And so are coaches making $10M a year.

Realignment sucks for two important groups
1. The fans of college sports who have enjoyed the rivalries for many years
2. College athletes in every sport besides football, where there are many more games (and thus, many more road games).
Major college football teams play 5 road games a year. They can live with it. Meanwhile women’s volleyball teams play 10-12 road games a year, baseball and softball teams go on the road constantly, basketball teams have a pretty condensed schedule, etc. Soccer, field hockey and lacrosse aren’t quite as bad but closer to those sports than football.
Chip Kelly and Eli Drinkwitz were both vocal about point #2 in the offseason.
Realignment doesn’t affect football logistically as much as other sports. It’s one game a week, and even when Oregon or Washington travel to Rutgers they fly in Wednesday or Thursday and they’re back home Saturday night or Sunday morning.
The non-football athletes, especially the ones in Olympic sports, are the ones that suffer greatly because many of their games, meets, and matches are in the middle of the week and they’re flying coach, sleeping in airports, and missing a ton of class, which will be exacerbated profoundly by these conferences that span the continent.

I really hope if Oregon and Washington tries to schedule Oregon State and Washington State as OOC annually to keep the rivalry alive they tell them to pack sand.
Oklahoma State had it right.
Oklahoma State had it right.

Yep. NIL and Transfer Portal killed it. Conference realignment is just another negative aspect in what is now professional sports.

Really a shame that Oregon was forced to leave the pac 12 against their will

The Beaver should post one busting open a dam or something.
