I don’t get the obsession with this

I get the entertainment value but I don’t get selling out 3 nights with lottery tickets. But good for them. They created something people like. Surprised they have not expanded this thing into a small league with regional teams.

A metro area with a population about 40x as big as BR.

And in case anyone is wondering, this crowd is smaller than a super. Significantly. Plenty of seats around. It’s full but could hold another 1 or 2k sitting and even more standing.

It’s not free just because they have a ticket lottery. People still have to pay for the tickets.

It’s not really a product that you can get repeat business for. It’s a gimmick and would be hard to get people to repeatedly come watch once they have already seen it.

Not because of lack of interest. They just didn’t sell as many tickets as LSU would have.

Yeah, the score means nothing. The game is actually on a timer. People come for the show. You couldn’t do this 30 times in the same city in the same year.

Just about everyone I know trying to get tickets had about 10-20 people enter for them. We didn’t even win the lottery. Someone gave us their tickets.

So they’ve never been to a super regional

The Tennessee game last year the same night the Womens Basketball team beat Virginia Tech was the most packedest ever.

OU game in super in 2013. Nola vs Gray. Not a seat open. State in ‘17 was packed too. Comes a close 2nd.

I can only be entertained by 8 seconds of the most random pop music with the game stopped for dancing. I can see why innings don’t matter and it’s all about the timer. Still got an hour left and it’s old.

Because a lot of people bought the full allotment during the lottery thinking they could sell them for crazy money. Go look at SeatGeek. People are asking $300+ for a ticket lol

They are playing in Alex Box. You don’t think it will get a thread? If the Harlem Globetrotters play the PMac would poster be “obsessed” if someone made a thread?

None of the 30,000+ attending are obsessed, they’re just enjoying a great product from Savannah that happens to be in town.

Tell that to Savannah, GA. Every game is sold out with people begging for tickets. For over 7 years
