This is the same organization that when you call to ask for clarity on one of their rules will not give you an answer and instead say “play them and we’ll decide later”

Same organization passed a rule “accidentally” making a huge portion of Catholic school freshmen ineligible, realized the mistake, voted to correct it, but still said those kids couldn’t play this year. Cowards- all of them

So what rule did you get caught violating?

Money has little to do with it, it’s about a corrupt Orleans Parish judge making up things as she goes

The LHSAA is just as bad as the NCAA.

Multiple schools turned them in. They had several kids with no paper work, at least 2 ineligible players that I know of, and had more than one coach actively recruiting kids to “transfer” to OHS for their senior year. They had players constantly in different numbers on the roster throughout the year and had names on the roster later in the year that were not on early season rosters. They got caught doing what everyone accuses private schools of doing. The LHSAA only did what everyone has been clamoring for, handing out consequences to schools that don’t follow the rules.

You’re naive if you don’t think her corruption involves getting her pockets lined

Yep. Not taking anything away from Cecilia, but North Desoto probably would have shut down Diesel and Cecilia’s offense also.

I’m confused. If their purpose is to “keep kids off the field ”, then why would they err on the side of “play them”?

North Desoto would have absolutely DESTROYED cecilia.

Way worse than OHS. North Desoto was the best team in the state, but OHS got some breaks to pull off the road win.

NS crushed Cecilia last year, and this year would have been just as bad or worse.

this in itself is not a violation. nor is changing numbers as long as it's recorded.

Parents should be held accountable too - but in reality most don't know the rules.

That is not illegal, but he was definitely using this as a smoke screen to hide kids that had never been turned in to the Lhsaa until after they had been in school for a year and would slide right in. One kid he was busted for “lived” at an Opelousas address but his mom and siblings were living and paying utility bills in another school district. He was dirty and he got caught.

Oh damn.

I was gonna say if it was Port Barre or Beau Chene, who cares. They messed up the districts in St Landry Parish so much over the years, there are kids that should be at OHS being sent to Port Barre.

But if they're actually taking kids from outside the parish, that's a little ridiculous.
