It's the same guy, that hack Hamelin who shouldn't have been in the race in the first place.

This.

Apollo was an underdog. In addition, I'd be celebrating if I just became the most decorated US Olympian at the Winter Olympics.

Yeah you can tell Apollo was a little disappointed. Happy he's the most decorated winter olympian and all, but not thrilled about bronze.

I was more upset with Jacobellis not really giving a shite in her interviews.

I think the realization set in that he can't beat the Koreans without cheating. I would be depressed too.

Just saw the replay in slowmo. Does not look like Hamelin pushed him. Looks like Ohno slipped. Which is consistent with what he said.

because 2nd or 3rd represent an OLYMPIC MEDAL. It's a big deal (in sports terms)

You can also look at it like they are literally beating thousands of other athletes worldwide who tried, but failed to get where those 2nd and 3rd place finishers ended up. It's an accomplishment...just because one guy did better doesn't change that

Yeah. From what I saw it didn't really seem like she was at all upset. Maybe she was masking her true feelings, but I kind of got the impression that she didn't care.

Is he favored in any of them? I'd like to see him take Gold at some point in these games.

Is Jacobellis the new Bode Miller? It was hilarious watching him celebrate like he won the Gold Medal after being disqualified in the '06 Olympics.

First MSB RA I've ever done. Congrats.

Ohno is clearly pissed because he could have done well without losing his balance after Hamelin's push, but he is now the most decorated Olympic athlete. I think he has two more potential medals left.
