Screw the New Orleans Saints, their players, and most all, their extortist greedy Billionaire owner, Tom Benson!!!

It still amazes me how the NFL players are passing this off as “activism.” They’re just taking a knee... literally doing nothing.

Kenny V wants to make a difference in the community. How about donating half his paycheck to charity?

In the era of social media virtue signalling, everybody thinks their slacktivism makes them fricking Gandhi.

These people don't give a damn about anything other than their own egos.

Which is why their 'activism' ends at hashtags, facebook filters, or photo ops.

Someone asked him why he passed, he responded, and now he is the bad guy in the Saints (and many of their fans) eyes

A lot of these guys are donating time and money, you just don't care to read about it.

They should do it the NBA way though. No kneeling at all, but they still donate time and money.

A real issue, the militarization of police and increased encroachment on the 4th Amendment was taken over by these ignorant players, who have morphed it into some half arse "racist" argument. That is why I'm irritated.

One day in the future PR classes are going to use the great NFL debacle of 2016-2017 as an example of how to do everything wrong at every turn.

Every single statement and action the NFL and their teams and players are doing is making the damage as bad as possible.

Funny how the kneelers suddenly hate freedom of expression when someone has a different opinion from theirs.

South Park pretty much called it a year ago, when the girls who were refusing to stand for the anthem wanted PC Principal to stop the counter-protest.

Right, there are problems with the drug war, civil forfeiture, private prisons. But this liberal fiction of a genocide against blacks isn’t grounded in reality, the stats don’t bear it. But we’re supposed to support this “cause” just because it’s a cause.

Good for him. I'd love to salute him. Why don't these poor aggrieved millionaires get out in the community working to right whatever imagined wrongs they see during the off season instead of following the lead of some unemployed militant/former QB? All they are doing is helping the media create more tension and making it harder and harder for LEO to do their job.

This is even better:

"Unfortunately, he has chosen very publicly not to accept this honor and refused the opportunity to promote the very cause for which he was being honored and distract from awareness we hoped to build throughout our community. We respect his decision..."

No you don't respect his decision. You just shite all over his decision.
