Man I did not realize how much thunder hate there is here. Damn. I’m happy for the team and it’s been good for Oklahoma City
Like any other fanbase, they get obnoxious when their team is winning. There are very few Pacers fans here. Indiana is not part of the SEC and a lot of SEC fans will bandwagon OKC, Boston, New York, LAL, GSW, etc.

Not really….that OUguy is insufferable so a lot of posters here are sick of him, but I think most here are indifferent to the Thunder.

My house is going nuts, my daughter keeps saying we won! and running through the house. She’s 4 and just asked for a JDub jersey, literally. We had our jerseys on and she said she wants one with an 8 on it.
First championship for a team I support since I was 7 years old when Arkansas won the tournament in ‘94.

Oh frick off man. It's the first pro sports title in state history. A bombing that killed 160 people happened 30 years ago 5 blocks from where they just won. The Thunder can be attributed with the revitilization of downtown OKC and the city/state has fully embraced that team.

From the 3-29 start in the inaugural season in OKC..
..to the meteoric rise of the KD/Russ/Harden team.
..to the thrill of making the 2012 Finals and the promise of more to come.
..to 3 title-contending seasons taken away by injuries to Russ/KD/Ibaka.
..to being up 3-1 in the WCF.
..to KD’s hardest road.
..to Russ staying in OKC and his MVP season.
..to the Paul George trade and the OK3.
..to the franchise altering SGA trade.
..to trading away Russ.
..to that special CP3 playoff season.
..to hiring Mark Daigneault.
..to the Poku rebuild years.
..to drafting Chet and JDub.
..to the meteoric rise of the second era.
..to a historical 68 win season.
..all culminating in an NBA Championship coming home to Oklahoma City.
Congratulations, Thunder fans.
